Picnic Strawberry and Date Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 bar of 70% dark chocolate (I use Lindt - my favourite)

  • 9 Strawberries

  • 6 Medjool Dates

  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter

Method:

Chop the chocolate and add it to the top of a double boiler over barely simmering water. Allow it to melt. Make a cut on the medjool dates lengthwise, remove the pit and 1/2 a teaspoon of peanut butter to the middle of each. Close them again, and pour some melted chocolate on top, covering the opening. This way to peanut butter stays a surprise to anyone you gift these joy sweets to.

Wash your strawberries, and dry them well. Dip the tip of each one into the melted chocolate. Make sure you place them on a silicon mat or baking paper after, so they will be easy to peel off.

Place them all in the fridge for at least half an hour. Enjoy!
